Welcome to Milestones Learning Center of Ashland!

We're Rebecca and Jessica, the director and assistant director of Milestones Learning Center of Ashland! At MLC, our goal is to create a safe, warm and fun environment for children to learn, grow and play, and we take pride in both the quality of our care and the community of staff, families and partners we have built in Ashland county.

Our center was established in 1992 as a Kindercare and was bought by our current owner, Ahava in 2025. To say that we have gone through some changes over the years is an understatement! Something that hasn't changed, however, is the emphasis we place on compassion and inclusion in our center. While each of our teachers are trained in the basics — such as First Aid, CPR and Communicable Disease — they also go through mandatory trainings each year that focus on the many aspects of child development. Our staff utilize the things they have learned from these courses on a daily basis, and work together to create a secure and inclusive environment for all of the children in our care.

Our Programs

Serving children six weeks to eleven years old with a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum.

At Milestones Learning Center, we believe that each child is an individual and strive to meet each of their needs accordingly. Our goal is to instill a high level of self-esteem and self-confidence into each of the children in our care. With daily exposure to music, creative art, fine/gross motor, and language activities, our educators are dedicated to the development of each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
